Paratroopers from Russia and Belarus, as part of the first preparatory phase of the joint tactical exercise, began practical exercises at the Brestsky training ground, where they pacticed the tactics of the combined airborne assault unit during reconnaissance and combat operations.
At equipped shooting sites, Russian servicemen fired from AKS-74 and AK-74M machine guns, PKM and Pecheneg machine guns, and hit targets from RPG-7D and RPG-26 grenade launchers. A stage of live-fire drills from the armament of BMD-4M airborne combat vehicles was also conducted.
