The personnel of the reinforced parachute company of the Pskov guards airborne assault unit arrived from the Republic of Belarus to the permanent deployment point

Today, the personnel of the reinforced parachute company of the Pskov guards airborne assault unit arrived at the railway station of the city of Pskov. The personnel took part in a joint Belarusian-Russian battalion tactical exercise, which took place in the period from 15 to 27 March this year on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the deputy commander of the division for airborne training, guard Colonel Roman Samokhin, the goals set for the trainees have been fully achieved.

"The personnel coped with the task and achieved high performance. The actions of the company's personnel were rated "excellent". During the exercises, the personnel shared their experience and emphasized many positive things in the actions of the servicemen of the neighboring state, " said guard Colonel Roman Samokhin.

The day before, the official closing ceremony of the joint exercise took place at the Osipovichsky training ground in the Mogilev region.

In total, the exercise involved more than 400 military personnel, about 100 units of combat and special equipment of the Vitebsk separate guards airborne unit of the Special Operations Forces and about 90 soldiers of the guards airborne assault regiment of the Pskov guards airborne unit.
