In Crimea, a tactical exercise with the guards airborne assault and artillery regiments of the Novorossiysk guards airborne assault mountain unit is taking place at the Opuk training ground from September 27 to 29.
At one of the stages of this event, under the leadership of the commander of the guard unit, Major General Andrei Sukhovetsky, interaction was organized on the layout of the terrain. The actions of all units involved in the active phase, as well as warning and control signals, were coordinated. The interaction was organized by drawing the main tactical episodes of the upcoming battle.
Summing up the preparations for the active phase of the exercise, the commander of the Kuban guard cossack regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Solodovnikov, noted that the planning of the upcoming training and combat operations has been completed, the personnel are fully ready to go to the training ground.
In total, about 2 thousand servicemen and more than 100 units of combat and special equipment of the airborne troops are involved in the regimental tactical exercise.
