During field training anti-aircraft gunners of the Southern Military District formation, stationed in Chechnya, destroyed mock enemy low-flying targets with the armament of Tor-M2U Air Defence Missile System.
Combat crews met the standards for air target detection and target tracking, as well as fire control and electronic launches at a distance up to 10 km at assigned targets.
In addition, the anti-aircraft gunners practiced the camouflage of firing positions, the communication organization and transfer of vehicles from the marching position to the combat position.
About 100 servicemen took part in the training activity. More than 20 units of military and special equipment were used.
