Sniper Biathlon was held in Belarus outside of Sniper Frontier international competition
At the Brestsky training ground in the Republic of Belarus, participants of Sniper Frontier international competition among snipers of special forces from 11 countries took part in the sniper biathlon.
The Russian team started in the same race with the teams from Belarus and Uzbekistan and, in a bitter struggle, took first place in the race.
The sniper biathlon was held outside the classification of Sniper Frontier international competition, but it became the most spectacular and intense test for its participants.
Sniper Frontier competition among special forces snipers is held on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on the basis of the Brestsky training ground of the 38th separate guards air assault brigade of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus from August 22 to September 4 as part of the VII International Army Games. Teams from Russia, Belarus, India, Iran, Qatar, China, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka are taking part in them.
The Russian team at international competitions is represented by the winners of the all-army stage of Sniper Frontier 2021 competition - the best snipers of the special forces of the Eastern and Western Military Districts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In addition, teams of the Russian National Guard and DOSAAF of Russia participate in the competition on an out-of-competition basis.
International Army Games will be held from August 22 to September 4 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan). In total, more than 5 thousand military personnel, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of the Games 2021.
