Check of the Black Sea Fleet for the winter training period starts in the military units in Crimea and Kuban
In the formations and military units of the Black Sea Fleet stationed on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and Krasnodar Territory, a control check during the winter period of training has begun.
Check during the winter training period is under the guidance of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Vice Admiral Igor Osipov.
As part of the check, the quality of the organization of combat training and the coherence of the fleet units, the state of weapons and military equipment, military discipline and law and order will be assessed.
During the check, the Black Sea Fleet servicemen will be involved in bilateral tactical exercises, in which unit commanders will demonstrate their independence in resolving the overall battle plan, the ability to make non-standard and unexpected decisions for the enemy, allowing them to seize and hold the initiative in battle.
By order of the commander of the Southern Military District, General of the Army Alexander Dvornikov, in a single tactical plan for the control check, battalion tactical groups will conduct exercise together with the crews of ships and squadrons of tactical, naval and army aviation.
Ship groups, land forces, aviation and air defence will practice tasks, both in the offensive and in defence.
The check of the Black Sea Fleet forces for the winter period is carried out according to the approved training plan for 2021.
