Large landing shipsof the Pacific Fleet conducted artillery firing in the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk

In the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk, the crews of the large amphibious ships of the Pacific Fleet Admiral Nevelskoy and Oslyabya on the sea crossing, as part of the combat training plan, conducted artillery firing and anti-aircraft and anti-sabotage defence training.

During the exercise, the crews worked out anti-mine tasks with the execution of artillery firing from 57-mm AK-725 artillery systems based on a mock-up of a sea floating mine. When repelling a mock enemy air raid, the training on repelling an air attack was carried out by shipboard crews of portable anti-aircraft missile systems (MANPADS) Strela-2 without performing practical missile launches.
