CF divers have started the qualifying stage for the Games-2022 Depth competition
In Dagestan, on the basis of the modern training complex (MTC) Kaspij, combat swimmers and rescue divers of the Caspian Flotilla (CF) have started the qualifying stage of the Depth competition of the 2022 Army International Games.
The training of participants takes place in a competitive mode, representatives of the emergency rescue service of the CF and military personnel of the special purpose detachment to combat underwater sabotage forces and means are strictly selected.
Divers practice orientation underwater using a compass, special navigation devices and systems, as well as searching for objects in a limited sector and lifting sunken items at the MTC. In addition, participants perform various welding and metal cutting operations under water using special equipment.
Also, diving specialists perform a number of tasks on the water obstacle course: jumping from a tower into the water, passing under a net, a handle and a rope, overcoming a blockage, an obstacle simulating the side of a ship that needs to be climbed. The last element is swimming at 50 m. It is necessary to complete the relay by striking the bell, after which the next team member begins to complete the tasks.
According to the results of the qualifying competitions, the best underwater swimmers and divers will be part of the CF team to participate in the diving all-around competition among the naval formations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
